Can I cancel adding my property?

Yes. You can cancel any time before your deed goes to the county for recording, and you’ll owe nothing.

How to cancel

On your property’s page, choose to cancel the process. You’ll see an “Are you sure?” confirmation. Click “Yes, Cancel Onramp” to confirm.

If the property is owned by more than one person, the cancel option is available to the primary owner on the process.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no charge to add a property, and the one-time onboarding fee you authorized is collected only if the property is sold or used for a loan. When you cancel, the property is removed unused, so the fee is waived. No money has left your account at any point.

After recording has started

Once your deed has been submitted to the county, the cancel option goes away, because a real document is being recorded in public records. The process will complete, and if you still want out, you can then remove the property using “Remove Property” on your property page. There’s no platform fee for removing a property either, and the unused onboarding fee is still waived.

If you’re not sure which stage you’re at, message us through the chat bubble in the corner and we’ll check for you.
