Buying with a bank account or card

You don’t need crypto to buy land on Fabrica. Pick My bank account at checkout and pay the way you already pay for everything else. Here is what to expect.

What you can pay with

  • Wire transfer, the fastest bank rail and the one to use for larger purchases

  • Bank transfer (ACH), straight from your checking account

  • Debit or credit card, including Apple Pay, for smaller amounts

Each method has its own speed, fees, and caps, and the app shows them at checkout. Payments run through our payment processor in a secure checkout window. Your card may ask you to confirm the payment with your bank (the usual verification step). Any card or bank processing fees are the processor’s and are itemized at checkout before you pay; Fabrica doesn’t set them. The processor also handles a quick identity verification as part of the payment.

Caps and larger purchases

ACH and card payments have caps, and the app shows them at checkout (“bank payments are capped at $N”). For purchases above the cap, use a wire transfer: message us through the chat bubble and we will email you wire instructions. Follow them exactly, including the memo line, because the instructions expire after about 3 days.

Timing

Card payments confirm quickly. Bank transfers take longer: after you see “Payment initiated!”, the purchase completes typically in 5-7 business days while your payment clears. The property transfers to you once it does, and you will get a confirmation email. We will also email you if anything needs your attention along the way.

If a payment is declined or returned

Declines usually come from your own bank or card issuer: daily limits, fraud holds on an unusual purchase, or insufficient funds. Check with your bank first, then try again. If a bank transfer fails or is returned after you started it, we will email you about it. Still stuck? Message us through the chat bubble in the corner and we will figure it out with you, or set you up with a wire instead.
