Moving money in and out of your Fabrica account

Here’s the short version: you usually don’t need to put money into Fabrica before you start. When you buy a property, you can pay directly from your bank account at checkout. Money only sits in your Fabrica account when you’ve received it there, for example after selling a property or taking a loan.

Paying for a property

When you click Buy Now, you choose how to pay:

  • My bank account: pay directly from your bank. No setup, no pre-funding, no crypto involved.

  • My crypto wallet: pay with USDC if you already keep stablecoins (digital dollars that always equal $1) in a crypto wallet.

The same idea applies elsewhere on Fabrica: where money goes in, you can generally pay from your bank directly, without loading up a balance first.

Money you receive

When you sell a property or take a loan, the money arrives in your Fabrica account as stablecoins. From there you have two ways to move it out:

  1. Cash Out: send it to your bank account. Look for the Cash Out button on your profile. Withdrawals move at normal bank speed.

  2. Transfer to a crypto wallet: if you use one, you can send your stablecoins to any wallet you control.

Adding money to your account

There’s no direct bank-deposit option today; you can’t wire money into your Fabrica balance from a bank. In practice you rarely need to, because purchases can be paid straight from your bank. If you do want a balance (for example, to make offers, which are made in USDC), you can:

  • Send stablecoins from a crypto account or exchange you already use, or

  • Log in with your own crypto wallet and simply use its balance directly.

Where your balance shows

Your available USDC appears when you’re about to use it, for example in the Buy Property dialog. One thing to know: your account can have several linked addresses (“link a new wallet” in the account menu), and funds live under the specific address you sent them to. If a deposit seems missing, switch to the address you actually sent it to.
