Removing a property (the off-ramp) puts the deed back in your name, or in the name of anyone you choose, and takes the property off Fabrica. It is always your call. Here are the most common reasons people do it.
Common reasons
A traditional sale. You want to sell through a real-estate agent and a title company, and they want title held in your name the usual way.
Traditional financing. A bank or mortgage lender is refinancing or lending against the property and requires the deed in your name.
Personal preference. You simply want to hold the property the way you did before. That is a perfectly good reason.
What you give up
While a property is off Fabrica, you lose the online rails: listing it for sale on the marketplace, receiving offers, borrowing against it through the lending pool, and transferring it in minutes. Selling or borrowing goes back to the traditional pace and paperwork.
What you keep
Everything that matters. You owned the property through your own trust while it was on Fabrica, and after removal you own it directly, with a fresh deed recorded at the county. Nothing about your ownership is reduced by removing it.
Can I come back later?
Yes. You can add the property again any time by starting a new setup at fabrica.land/go.
What it costs
There is no Fabrica fee to remove a property. If you never sold it or borrowed against it while it was on Fabrica, the onboarding fee you authorized is waived. Counties charge their own recording costs, and Fabrica guides you through them.
