Your property on Fabrica is part of your estate, just like any other real estate you own. It passes to your heirs. Nothing about the token changes that.
How it passes
You own the property through your own trust, and your interest in that trust is what your heirs inherit. The trust agreement provides for this directly: when an estate goes through probate (the court process that settles a person’s affairs), the probate documents are what move ownership to the heirs. That means your family does not need your passwords, your email, or your wallet keys to inherit the land. Ownership can be transferred based on the estate’s legal documents.
If the heirs want to keep using Fabrica, the property continues as normal under their ownership. If they would rather hold the deed directly, they can remove the property, which records a fresh deed in their name at the county.
What your executor should do
Whoever handles the estate should contact us early: the chat bubble at fabrica.land or hello@fabrica.land. Have the property link and the estate paperwork ready. We will confirm what the county and the trust require and guide the transfer from there.

Tell them the property is held in a trust and share the trust agreement with them; it is open source, so they can read every word. Fabrica cannot give legal or tax advice, so lean on a professional for the planning itself.
