Fabrica has built its system on top of Ethereum, a public distributed computing platform which provides the operating system to allow for a secure and accessible chain of record. 

Each digital title is represented by a token held on the Fabrica smart contract. Tokens are digital identifiers that can be connected to external facing data (metadata) that allows each token to be unique. We tie each token to the trust agreement and deed establishing the property held within the trust, and we utilize third party storage and security solutions that keep the tokens safe and assigned to our users.

Users with strong technical understanding are able to remove their digital title from this storage, but note that once a token leaves our system, we can not guarantee the safe-keeping of that digital title.
