What can I do with my property while it's under a loan?

While a loan is open, your property token is held by the lending pool as collateral. You are still the beneficial owner, but some actions are paused until the loan is repaid. Here is the honest list.

What’s blocked under a loan

  • Transfers between your wallets. The Transfer Property button is disabled and shows: “Please pay off the loan to enable property transfer.”

  • Removing the property (off-ramp).Remove Property is disabled until the loan is paid off.

  • Editing photos and the description. Updating your property page is paused until the loan is repaid.

What still works

  • Selling. You CAN list your property for sale while it is under a loan. Click Put for sale as usual. The listing form shows your loan payoff math, and your price must at least cover the payoff (you will see a warning if it does not). When the property sells, the sale pays off your loan automatically at closing and you receive the rest.

  • Your taxes. Not really an “action”, but worth repeating: property taxes remain your responsibility during the loan, and unpaid taxes will block future borrowing.

The quickest way to unblock everything

Pay off the loan. Use Pay Off Loan on the Under Loan card, and the token returns to your account with all actions restored. See “Repaying your loan” in this collection.
