Fabrica serves as a facilitator in real estate transactions, connecting traditional property ownership with blockchain technology.
For its users, Fabrica utilizes blockchain technology to represent property ownership in a digital format. Each property is held in its own trust, which holds record title, and a digital Property Token represents ownership of that trust. Transferring the token transfers ownership of the trust, and with it the property.
For counties, Fabrica streamlines onchain information about the property to give assessors the relevant information they need to do their constitutional duties. When beneficial ownership of a property changes, a change of ownership is reported to the county through the normal channels.
