What is Fabrica's role?

Fabrica is a platform, not a title holder. Each property is held in its own trust; the owner is the beneficiary of that trust and, by default, also serves as their own trustee. Fabrica never holds title to a user’s property and cannot control it.

What Fabrica builds is the technology around those trusts: the smart contracts and platform that allow users to create and interact with digital property, plus a suite of tools and standardized agreements, including the Fabrica Trust, that bolsters digital property ownership.

While all of this data is publicly available onchain, Fabrica provides convenient access to relevant data about digital property ownership. Fabrica supports county officials in administrative processes related to property records, including recording deeds and reporting changes of ownership. In doing so, Fabrica seeks to enhance accessibility and transparency in real estate transactions.

Fabrica holds 20+ regulatory licenses and operates across all 50 states with varying degrees of functionality. Details are documented at docs.fabrica.land, including licenses and operation. For anything else, contact hello@fabrica.land.
