No. Fabrica’s smart contracts have not been audited by an outside security firm. We would rather tell you that plainly than dress it up.
Why your ownership doesn’t hinge on the contracts
Here is the part that matters for you as an owner: Fabrica was designed so that your property does not depend on any piece of software being perfect.
Your deed is recorded at the county. Title to your land is held by your own trust and sits in the public record, exactly like any other deed. No software bug can erase a county record.
The trust stands apart from the code. You own your property through your own trust. You are the beneficiary, and by default you are also your own trustee. The trust is a legal structure, not a smart contract, and it survives any technical issue.
Everything is open. The trust agreement is open source, and the contracts live on Ethereum where anyone can inspect them. You or your advisors can verify what the system does rather than trusting our description of it.
You can always exit. Removing your property (the off-ramp) puts a fresh deed directly in your name, and it works even without Fabrica.
