Counties and other parties sometimes send mail addressed to your property or to the trust that holds it: tax bills, assessment notices, change-of-ownership paperwork, HOA letters.
We scan it and email it to you
When mail arrives for your property or trust, Fabrica scans it and emails a copy to the email address on your account. You do not need to set anything up; this happens automatically as part of the service.
The scan is what we deliver. If you need the physical original of a letter, ask us in the chat and we will look into forwarding it to you where possible.
Act on what you receive
Treat these emails like the paper mail they contain. Tax bills and county notices often have deadlines, and missing them can lead to penalties, liens, or worse. When a scanned letter arrives:
Open it and read what it asks for.
If it is a tax bill, pay the county directly (see “Your property taxes” in this collection).
If you are not sure what a letter means or what to do, ask us.
After you remove a property
If you take your property off Fabrica, update your mailing address directly with the county so future tax bills and notices reach you, instead of going to the old property address.
