If you’d like to report items as stolen—to disable them from being bought or sold using Fabrica's services—please submit a ticket. Our User Safety team will help with disabling the affected items.
In order to verify the report of theft, we ask you to provide a police report within 7 calendar days. This helps prevent bad actors from making false reports. If we don’t receive a police report, the items will be re-enabled on Fabrica.
If you’re the victim of a theft and you want to re-enable an item because it was recovered or you would like to withdraw your report, please submit a ticket.
While we can prevent your items from being bought or sold using Fabrica's services, your items remain on the blockchain and are not in the custody of Fabrica. As a result, we aren't able to recover lost funds or NFTs that have been transferred out of your wallet. We also cannot prevent your items from being bought, sold, or transferred using other marketplaces or non-Fabrica services, or through direct interaction with the blockchain.
In many jurisdictions, contested claims to property title can be brought before the relevant local jurisdiction. These actions, called "quiet title actions" can help to remediate any issues with respect to property ownership.
Fabrica is not a law firm, and can not provide legal advice as to how best to successfully pursue such a claim.
To the extent we can be helpful, Fabrica is willing and able to provide any and all information related to onchain data and events.
